We’re often told a stranger is just a friend we haven’t met yet. That sounds simple — but it isn’t entirely true.

Even people we know well remain strangers in certain ways. There’s always a line — sometimes visible, sometimes not.

Friendship can be strong, structured, reliable. But it is not the same as closeness.

The difference isn’t time. It’s willingness — from both sides.

And sometimes, you recognize that there is someone where that line could shift.

Not forced. Not assumed. Just… possible.

Some connections don’t need to be created — only recognized.

Closeness doesn’t happen by chance. It happens when someone decides to move first.
