Unnecessary Theatrics

Blood. It takes skill to weave dramatic tension, but not nearly as much skill as it takes to give up the need for drama altogether. With all that you want to accomplish, there will be little energy left for unnecessary theatrics.

Taking Action

a1

The best time to start was last year. The second best time is right now.

“Often the difference between a successful person and the failure is not one’s better abilities or ideas, but the courage that one has to bet on one’s idea, to take a calculated risk – and to act” André Malraux

It takes courage to take action without instructions from the person in charge. Perhaps that’s why initiative is a rare quality that’s coveted by managers and executives everywhere. Seize the initiative. When you have a good idea, start implementing it without being told. Once people see you’re serious about getting things done they’ll want to join in. The people at the top don’t have anyone telling them what to do. If you want to join them, you should get used to acting independently.

Always

ImageThe once who say its always better to see the bright side are underestimating both the risk of blind optimism and the daunting permanence of the word “always”

Progress

progress

Sometimes, certain situations appear to worsen before they improve. Note the word ‘appear’. We believe a particular development to be negative because such developments tend to appear out of the blue and throw carefully-laid plans into chaos. We overlook the fact that the seemingly negative development is actually a progression.

Happiness

Happiness“People are often unreasonable and self-centered. Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of ulterior motives. Be kind anyway.
If you are honest, people may cheat you. Be honest anyway.
If you find happiness, people may be jealous. Be happy anyway.
The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have and it may never be enough. Give your best anyway.
For you see, in the end, it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway.” Mother Theresa

Taking a Risk

imagesIf we’re certain about something before we take a risk, then are we really taking a risk? Risks tend to get taken when an element of the unknown exists or when we believe we’ve ‘nothing to lose’. We appear willing to throw caution to the wind in some way because it’s an option that hasn’t been tried as yet.

To risk ourselves we must want something very much. We must also have the courage to commit ourselves to that which we want so that in the face of difficulty, in the face of possible disappointment, we will go forward anyhow.

Commitment of the heart is the basis for risk, a commitment to something we believe in – to an ideal, a way of life, a person whom we love. Even though there are other motives that propel people into taking risks, commitment of the heart is the one that partakes of the spiritual because it bases risk-taking on what we value and on what we love.

A life of indifference, cynicism, or withdrawal will not produce risk-taking. In order to risk something, we must believe in something. We must be committed to it, whether it is a person, an idea, or God himself. To risk something large, our level of commitment must be equally large so that what drives us forward is nothing other than love itself.

Time to Love

Remember, to say, ‘I love you’ to your partner and your loved ones, but most of all mean it. A kiss and an embrace will mend hurt when it comes from deep inside of you.

Remember to hold hands and cherish the moment for someday that person will not be there again.

Give time to love, give time to speak! And give time to share the precious thoughts in your mind.

And always remember, life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by those moments that take our breath away.

Inspiration

Inspiration 1Inspiration,  when I feel inspired, I am moved, touched and ignited. I feel something shift inside me. Something is stirred. Awakened.

I would define Inspiration as follow

Creativity: Inspiration feeds the creative pulse. It begins the bubbling up of new ideas. The creative inner spark is ignited and excitement takes over to an level of unknown abilities of the human kind.

Stimulation: Inspiration is a state of stimulation. Stimulation of your mind, your emotions and very often your whole body. It is an internal state that flows outwards as well as inward and often calls you to action.

New Ideas: They are moments of inspiration where new ideas are birthed. It is where your heart and mind unite. The inner feeling triggers a chain of new ideas. You see yourself in a new way. You see what is possible. You discover something different or unique.

Inspiration 3Beauty: Inspiration carries with a sense of beauty. I am deeply inspired by beauty. A beautiful sunset, a beautiful piece of music, a beautiful person. Seeing the beauty in something connects you with it’s essence. Seeing the beauty in someone else inspires us to connect with the beauty in ourselves.

Spirit: Inspiring to let  your soul smiling to the world and the world reacting upon your positive spirit and energy, caring the way that even strangers can pick up the positive energy. Using it wisely will make a difference in your life and the people you touch.

I would say that feeling inspired, is just a great state of mind to be able to share with those in need of Inspiration to create a better happier world.
